About the company

Located adjacent to the Cascades and in the shadow of Mount Rainier, ML Machine & Design was founded by Mark Mathieson as a veteran-owned small business in 1980. For over 40 years, the company has specialized in small to medium sized components for medical device, aerospace, and industrial applications. From prototyping and short runs up to long run machined parts and assemblies, ML Machine has always strived to meet exacting quality and delivery needs.

Mark retired in January 2021 and the company was acquired by Andrew Theriault, who now manages the operation with the same philosophy used to make the business successful – delivering high quality components on time, and consistently adding value to customers.

We’re committed to employing highly skilled CNC machinists and programmers, and to utilizing the most effective technology in order to improve our quality continuously.
